MOSCOW — It has been nearly two years since the Sandpoint tennis team suffered a loss in a dual, but playing shorthanded at Moscow on Friday, the Bulldogs fell 9-3 in a battle of the two top 4A programs in the region.
“We were under-manned today with several varsity players absent,” said head coach Kent Anderson, who got some JV players varsity experience. “There were definitely some bright spots in the defeat.”
Cassidy Story was flawless in her win, dismantling Ellen Postell, the reigning district champion 6-2, 6-0 in straight sets. Jacob Jackson also won convincingly in straight sets.
