Simple reason for two threshold choirs

This is a response to Joanna Fuchs’ questions as to why the two threshold choirs of Sandpoint don’t combine forces.

Ironically, we both expressed interest in starting a threshold choir in Sandpoint at the same time and, initially, we planned on only one choir. But after further discussion, the Voices of the Heart Threshold Choir decided to open membership to male voices where the Syringa Threshold Choir preferred to keep it an all-female choir.

This is the basic reason for the two distinct choirs that will serve Bonner County well.
