COEUR d’ALENE — Khloe Kyllonen won two matches, but unfortunately only one of the wins counted for the shorthanded Bulldogs, who tied 5A Lake City 6-6 in a Inland Empire League tennis dual Thursday at Lake City High School.
Kyllonen didn’t drop a game in a straight set win in No. 3 girls singles, then teamed with Amy Clark to win at No. 2 doubles, although that match was officially ruled a default for Lake City, as Sandpoint was missing four girls on varsity. Cassidy Story also won in straight sets at No. 1 singles, continuing to emerge as one of the top players in the region with a steady and consistent game.
