CLARK FORK — Joel Molander has announced he will be seeking a second term as Lake Pend Oreille School District trustee in Zone 5.

Molander is running on his experience, attachment to the community, and a professional résumé that makes him well-suited for his role on the board, according to a press release.

“This school district has a record of student success and strong leadership in the past decade,” Molander said. “I want to make sure we continue that progress as we deal openly with challenges ahead.”

The retired architect moved to Clark Fork after a long career in Spokane and Richland, Wash. He holds a degree in architectural engineering from Washington State University, Pullman, and served as a captain in the U.S. Army.
