Bears sweep Bulldogs to even season series

SANDPOINT — A pair of strong pitching performances from Malaki Smith and Talon Dewey ultimately led to a doubleheader split with Moscow on Tuesday in a 4A Inland Empire League doubleheader tilt at War Memorial Field.

Caleb Edlund had two hits to back a solid performance from starter Smith, who went threw five strong innings to keep things close, before the Bears (2-4 4A IEL) scored six runs in the sixth to earn a 6-0 win it the opener.
