Bulldogs earn doubleheader split with Bears

SANDPOINT — In a testament to the parity in the 4A North this season, Moscow trekked north and earned a 14-3, 23-6 sweep of host Sandpoint in a 4A Inland Empire League doubleheader on Tuesday at Sandpoint Middle School.

The Bulldogs (5-7, 3-3 4A IEL) swept the Bears last week in Moscow, but things were much different the second time around, as the team scored just nine runs on the day, 20 less than in the previous meeting.
