SANDPOINT — Patrick Kummer tossed a four-hitter, and Jackson Russo ripped four hits on the day, leading the Bulldogs to a 14-4, 7-4 sweep of St. Maries in a nonleague baseball doubleheader on Saturday at War Memorial Field.
The Bulldogs (9-10) called up catcher Brock Browning from the JV, and he responded by lacing two hits and scoring three runs in the opener, backing another strong performance from Kummer. Wes Holland threw four strong innings in the second game to earn the win, part of a deep rotation for the Bulldogs.
