Why is Obama ignoring Islamic extremists?

What’s going on when a 24-year-old U.S. Muslim citizen takes a rifle, goes to a U.S. military recruitment center and opens fire? He kills four Marines, and wounds two. He then flees in his car and later, local police confront him and he wounds one officer before he is killed.

Some time later it is found that his father was once on the FBI watch list. We also find out that he just returned from a trip to Jordan.
