Bayview fire grows in size
BAYVIEW — The Three Sisters Fire grew to approximately 250 acres Wednesday and multiple fire agencies will continue fighting the wildfire today.
More than 220 people, and several air units, are attempting to curb the spread of the fire, which is believed to have been caused by humans Tuesday afternoon. Karen Sjoquist, a spokeswoman with the Idaho Department of Lands, told The Press Wednesday that officials are satisfied with progress made in digging fire line during the first full day of response.
“There really wasn’t as much growth today as we expected,” Sjoquist said. “And we’re feeling pretty good about the weather report.”
