Swing to the left has left us divided, entitled

Think about it. You’re born a communist. You are totally taken care of by your parents (basically your government). Then as you grow in to your teens, you become more independent and expect a little more freedom socially and economically (you have developed in to a socialist). 

By your 20s, you become mature and responsible enough to make your own decisions. Congratulations, you have mentally outgrown your need for parental guidance, and left the safety of your cocoon (welcome to life under the American Constitution).
