'Best direction for the city'

SANDPOINT — The Sandpoint City Council is debating whether to hire a city administrator, a position Mayor Carrie Logan said would benefit the city. 

“I think it’s the best direction for the city,” Logan said.

The council will decide during Wednesday’s public budget hearing whether to approve the budget with the city administrator position or to leave the position out. The budget hearing starts at 5:30 p.m. in City Council chambers, 1123 Lake St.
