Motorist dies after collision with UP train

ELMIRA — A motorist was fatally injured Tuesday in a collision with a Union Pacific Railroad train at an at-grade crossing.

Idaho State Police said James R. Lee was eastbound on Elmira Road when he failed to stop for the train. The northbound locomotive collided into the passenger side of his Lee’s Ford F-250 pickup truck.
