More students should mean more teachers

| December 1, 2015 8:00 PM

I am an eighth grader at Clark Fork High School. My school recently suffered a number of budget cuts, resulting in the loss of eight staff members.

These cuts were put into place because of the number of students in attendance, but since then our number have increased dramatically, without an increase in faculty. This not only puts stress on teachers because of larger class sizes, but because there are no longer designated junior high teachers, high school teachers must now learn and teach the junior high curriculum.
