Seven Special Olympians claim bowling wins

SANDPOINT — The Sandpoint Special Olympics team competed in a regional bowling tournament on Nov. 14 in Coeur d’Alene, representing their hometown with pride and skill. Local Shane Parson posted the highest individual score in the tournament with a solid 192. 

There were more than 90 athletes from Coeur d’Alene, Sandpoint and Silver Valley teams. Sandpoint athletes Roy Burrows, Shaine Parson, Lee Hudson, Hayley Thompson, Scott Dellinger, Chelsea Dennis and Cody Shryver each placed first in their divisions.
