Schoening, Kirscher lead Bulldogs in rout
SANDPOINT — Madi Schoening and Grace Kirscher combined for 37 points, leading Sandpoint to a convincing 62-22 win over Kellogg in nonleague girls basketball on Tuesday night at Les Rogers Court.
Schoening made 9 of 11 field goals for 21 points, to go with five steals, four assists and three rebounds, while Kirscher made 4 of 6 attempts from beyond the arc for her 16 points.
Taylor Ward also had a strong all-around game with six points, three boards, three assists and two steals, and Grace Hicks added four points and some strong interior defense for the Bulldogs (3-4), who built a 43-13 halftime lead with stingy defense and sharp shooting.
