SANDPOINT — A Bonner County man accused of using the Internet to entice a minor entered an Alford plea to an amended charge on Friday.

Under the plea, Chase Bradin Howland admits no wrongdoing but concedes the state has enough evidence to gain a conviction. However, the plea will be regarded no differently than a plea of guilt when Howland is sentenced in 1st District Court on March 11.

Howland was initially charged with enticement, but pleaded to felony injury to a child.
