Our republic is only as good as our efforts

The 2015 legislative session has begun and things are off and running at full speed. My first three weeks in session have been everything I expected and more. I’m glad that new legislators had training in early December so we were better prepared for the tidal wave of work which awaited us. I have been assigned to three committees and find each interesting and challenging. They are Revenue and Taxation, Judiciary and Rules, and Environment-Energy and Technology.
