More rain on way, localized flooding possible
SANDPOINT — Break out the umbrellas and waders. The National Weather Service is predicting warmer, wetter weather and rising snow levels in Bonner County beginning Thursday and into next week.
“The situation is developing, and there will be quite a bit of rainfall,” John Livingston, meteorologist in charge with the NWS in Spokane, said.
Expect some localized flooding in the smaller creeks as the snow level rises to around 5,000 feet beginning Thursday as several waves of warmer temperatures roll through the area.
