Hunsaker, Webster, Johnson lead Bulldogs past Bears

MOSCOW — Freshman Hyrum Hunsaker scored a workmanlike 2-0 decision at 138 pounds, helping lead the Bulldogs to a 53-24 win over Moscow in a 4A Inland Empire League wrestling dual Wednesday night at the Bear Den.

The Bulldogs sat three starters and had four freshman in the lineup, with Andrew Webster (170) and August Johnson (120) each notching pins.

“Hyrum wrestled with constant, well-controlled pressure to knock off one of their seniors and returning district champs,” said Bulldogs head coach Mike Randles. “A fearless August Johnson stepped in to secure another fall, and Andrew Webster collected his sixth varsity win.”
