Sagle man arrested for lewd conduct in Canyon County

SANDPOINT — A 34-year-old Sagle man was arrested Monday on molestation charges filed in Canyon County.

Nicholas Randon Newman is charged with three counts of lewd and lascivious conduct with a minor, according to the arrest warrant. The children he’s accused of abusing are 6, 10 and 14, the warrant said.

The warrant does not specify when the alleged misconduct occurred. The case was filed along with a $200,000 arrest warrant on Jan. 28, the Idaho Supreme Court Data Repository indicates.
