Education, not religion should be our focus

In reference to Jacob Jones’ letter to the editor on Feb. 12.
Perhaps religion should be taught in our public schools, taught, not preached. Taught, means Islam, Hindu, Buddhism, Judaism and all other religions believe, as well as what non-believers think. If we followed Mr. Jones’ radical agenda and taught the Bible and Jesus, we would be no better than what some radical religious (Middle East?) country might force on their citizens. How would Mr. Jones feel about me handing out the Quran at our schools, at his church?
