| February 17, 2015 6:00 AM

DOVER — The Idaho Department of Fish & Game is meeting with the Idaho Lakes Commission Wednesday to discuss using water from Priest Lake to cool the Priest River.

The Lakes Commission meeting starts at 9 a.m. at Dover City Hall, 699 Lakeshore Ave.

The siphoning project would aid bull trout, westslope cutthroat trout and other cold-water fish species, according to Fish & Game. It is also expected to enhance sport fishing opportunities.
