SAR announces golf tournament, grant recipients

SANDPOINT — Each year the Selkirk Association of Realtors gives thousands of dollars to local groups in need of funding for their community projects and programs in Bonner and Boundary counties.

This year, Realtors locally granted more than $7,000 to individuals and groups in Bonner and Boundary counties.

This year’s grant recipients are Marine Corps League, Sandpoint Area Seniors’ DayBreak Center, Sandpoint Teen Center, Community Cancer Services, Bonner Community Hospice, Bonner County Task Homeless Task Force, West Bonner County Food Bank, Bags of Love, and Panhandle Special Needs.

This year’s scholarship recipients are: Hannah Showers, who is attending Montana State University; Katherine Chambers, who is attending Montana State University; Kelli Plaster, who is attending Boise State; and Daniel Mire, who is graduating from Sandpoint High School.
