Ballard, Nelson lead Sharks at junior swim championships

ASOTIN, Oregon — Jacob Ballard and Aiden Nelson each set new meet records to lead the Sandpoint Sharks at the 2015 Inland Empire Junior Championship Swim Meet recently at the Asotin County Family Aquatic Center.

Ballard, 12, won the 100 fly, breaking the meet record by three seconds, and also took second in the 100 back.
