Ivie out as Spartans coach

PRIEST RIVER — First year Priest River boys basketball coach Nick Ivie saw his tenure come to an end last week, after a falling out with school administrators and parents.

Ivie, who has coached at the lower levels in Priest River for nine years, guided the Spartans to a 4-15 record this season, and will be replaced for the remainder of the year by JV coach Kevin Wylie and freshman coach Mark Schultz.
