LPOSD isn't being straight with us

Here we go again.

LPOSD has come up with another levy: $15.7 million. This is insulting to the taxpayers who are aware of some of the “facts” that are omitted from the levy flyer and statistics that are skewed. Here are some:

Enrollment has steadily dropped in the last 14 years and is now nearly 16 percent lower than in 2010. In Clark Fork there has been a 40-percent drop. Meanwhile levies have increased 500 percent since 2010.  They have never decreased, no matter the enrollment decline or the state of the economy.
