Maintain a tradition of excellent schools

The Lake Pend Oreille School District is truly something of which our community can be proud. LPOSD schools are recognized across the state of Idaho as exemplary in academics notably by our numerous five-star schools.

The quality of education provided in LPOSD is only possible because of the funding provided by Bonner County residents through the levy process. Throughout the recent economic downturn, LPOSD has been fiscally responsible with taxpayer monies and continued to provide quality education while having to make difficult financial choices. This year the board has chosen a levy amount that would reduce the levy rate by approximately 9.2 percent over the next two years.
