Replacement levy contains zero fat

Unfortunately the state of Idaho does not adequately fund public education. Comparatively, the state of Idaho ranks 49 or 50th in the nation in what the state provides per student for K-12 education.

Virtually every community in Idaho is therefore asked to support their school district with local tax revenue. Bonner County is no different. The Lake Pend Oreille School District does a remarkable job of educating our children with the resources that are available.
