Resource center connects those in need with those who can help

SANDPOINT — The Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce recently welcomed the Sandpoint Community Resource Center with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Sandpoint Community Resource Center’s dedicated group of volunteers link people to needed social services in Bonner and Boundary counties. SCRC strives to provide a relevant and cohesive database of social services available to the public in the greater Sandpoint area and promote these services to those in need.

In addition to its comprehensive database, Sandpoint Community Resource Center collaborates with local and statewide organizations to effectively respond to the needs of those in surrounding communities. Members seek to inspire others to volunteer and help their neighbors as well as to identify the resources to help those in need.
