Twilight ski and snowboard specials on tap at Schweitzer
SANDPOINT — The Schweitzer Mountain Twilight Ski and Snowboard special is back, and just in time for the latest and most significant snowfall of the season.
Sandpoint Parks and Recreation will sell $8 ticket vouchers for twilight skiing or boarding for kids of all ages, every Friday and Saturday night at Schweitzer, from 3-7 p.m. each night. These vouchers are fully transferable and good any night of night skiing through the end of the season. Ticket vouchers must be redeemed for a valid ticket at the Ski & Ride Center or a ticket window.
Purchase your tickets at Sandpoint Parks and Recreation, The Dairy Depot, Yoke’s Fresh Market (customer service desk) or Larson’s Department Store, at both Sandpiont and Bonners Ferry locations. All proceeds from ticket sales at these locations go towards the Parks & Recreation Youth Scholarship program.
The coupons will not be available at the Schweitzer Ticket Office; they must be purchased before driving up.
Participants can get a special ski or snowboard rental package for $15 plus tax and fees when you show your ticket at the sales desk. To take advantage of this opportunity, a rental waiver signed by a legal guardian must accompany a minor for the first rental. It will then be placed on file for subsequent rentals for the season.
Make sure to tell the rental shop that you want the special deal. The program does not provide any adult on-site supervision.
To procure a rental waiver, or for further details on this program, please call Sandpoint Parks & Rec 263-3613.
