The cold? The flu? How can you tell which it is?

You woke up this morning with a sore throat. Dry, scratchy, hurts to swallow sore throat.

Is it a cold? Probably. Is it the flu? Maybe. A little while later your nose starts running, but you don’t feel too bad. Is it a cold? Probably.

The flu? Not likely, but it could be.

Every news report you’ve been hearing tells you that it’s an extremely bad year for the flu, some states are calling it an epidemic. And, it’s here in our little corner of North Idaho.
