Sandpoint will miss you, Pastor Steve
Steve Nickodemus, the founder and leader of the chaplaincy at Bonner General Health, has mentored many volunteer chaplains in sharing God’s love and compassion to those in the hospital.
In mentoring chaplains and visiting patients himself, Steve always takes time to listen, encourage, and genuinely care. This comes naturally to Steve as he consistently puts others’ needs before his own. He has a servant’s heart and exemplifies what it means to serve with integrity and compassion. I haven’t seen him walk on water yet, but he sure does a great job with his feet on the ground.
As a volunteer chaplain, it has been an honor to serve under Steve’s leadership.
Sandpoint will miss you greatly, my friend, and will always remember how you have touched this community. All the best to you as you begin a new chapter in your life in Oregon.
