Homeless animals deserve better care

I went in to the Panhandle Animal Shelter on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2014, and was absolutely appalled by what I saw. There were three employees at the desk chatting and drinking smoothies. Not one of them looked up to acknowledge me and my children.
