Schweitzer announces construction of Summit Lodge

SANDPOINT — The board of directors for Schweitzer Mountain Resort approved plans this week for the construction of a $3.8 million Summit Lodge at the top of the resort’s Great Escape Quad.
“We are excited with the board’s decision to move forward with this project, especially following such a challenging winter,” said Schweitzer Mountain Resort CEO Tom Chasse.
“It’s great to have such strong support from our owners, allowing us to improve the resort’s infrastructure and deliver a better experience for our guests.”
