Another great Fourth

| July 12, 2015 7:00 AM

The Sandpoint Lions Club would like to take this opportunity to thank Schweitzer Mountain Resort and Papé Machinery for their participation in this years Independence Day celebration. Without the generous gift on a 2015/2016 ski season pass and Papé’s assistance in purchasing a John Deere Gator, the Lions Club would have had difficulty in affording such great gifts to celebrate the birth of our nation.

Thanks you students of Sandpoint High School for excepting our invitation to be the grand marshal of this year’s festivities. Due to your fund-raising abilities “Moose Madness” for several years now you have made literally thousands of Sandpoint children very happy on Christmas morning.

To our large donors, Idaho Forest Group, Sandpoint Business Improvement District, and Pierce Auto Center, for your generous contribution to this event. To all of the merchants who purchased raffle tickets you haven’t been forgotten and we appreciate your help in ensuring the success of this great day.

It has been the pleasure of the Sandpoint Lions Club to present the Independence Day celebration to all of the citizens who purchased raffle tickets. Without your support none of this would have been possible.

Our thanks also go out to the Daily Bee for your generous support over the years. You have been the Lions Club voice to the community. Without your help it would have been very difficult to keep the community appraised of Lions Club events. And thank you Reader for your contribution to this event. To KRFY Radio and Blue Sky Broadcasting for your help in informing the public of our activities. Hopefully, I have not forgotten anyone. If I have it was not done on purpose. My sincere apologies for not mentioning you.

Come and visit us (on) our Facebook page. Our motto is “We serve.” Our telephone is 263-4118. Leave a message we will get back to you.
