Miller completes Long Bridge Swim early

Sandpoint native India Miller, a freshman who leaves for college in Hawaii next week, was sad to learn she will miss the annual Long Bridge Swim after completing it for the past seven years.
So on Tuesday, along with mom Suzy Miller as her safety kayaker, she swam the 1.76-mile span by herself. She leaves to attend BYU Hawaii on July 22, and will miss the popular early-August open water swim, but she proved she will be there in spirit.
