Skate park to close for maintenance

SANDPOINT — Attention all skateboarders, scooter riders, roller bladers or anyone else who uses the Concrete Lake skate park at Travers Park: Sandpoint Parks and Rec will be closing the popular park this week on Wednesday and Thursday, July 29 and 30, for the annual filling of the cracks and sealing of the surface.

The work is done every year prior to the King of the Kongcrete competition, which will be held on Saturday, Aug. 15.
