Adult tennis lessons offered

SANDPOINT — Ever wanted to learn how to play tennis, or maybe refine the skills you do have?

Registration is now being taken for both beginner and intermediate adult tennis lessons at Sandpoint Parks and Rec this summer.

Sessioin No. 1 for the beginner lessons will take place on Monday and Thursday, June 15 and 18, at the Lakeview Park tennis courts from 5:30-6:30 p.m. each night. Session No. 2 will run on June 22 and 25, and session No. 3 on July 20 and 23.

The intermediate lessons will be held on June 29 and July 2, with another session offered on July 6 and 9.

Beginner lessons focus on teaching sound fundamentals. Intermediate lessons expand on fundamentals, strategy and overall play.

The class fee is $25 per session ($3 city discount). Each session has a 12-person maximum, so pre-register early to guarantee your spot.
