Deputy ticketed for injury crash

SANDPOINT — A Bonner County sheriff’s deputy is being cited for reckless and/or inattentive driving in connection with a collision that injured to motorcyclists last month.

The misdemeanor offense against Sgt. Phyllis J. Jay was filed in magistrate court on Tuesday, although a physical case file does not yet exist. Supporting documents in the case have yet to be filed.
