Opposition to program needs to be clarified

| March 5, 2015 6:00 AM

After reading Bill Berg’s guest opinion about the efforts by state Reps. Heather Scott and Sage Dixon to kill the education tax credit for donors to the Panhandle Alliance for Education, I went back and re-read the “Notes From Boise” column written by Rep. Scott.

While Bill Berg makes a cogent argument for the value of keeping the tax credit as an incentive for citizens to help fund a variety of useful local educational programs, Heather Scott fails to reiterate her position on any issue.
