Man charged with witness tampering

SANDPOINT — A Vay man implicated in the shooting death of his wife in Washington state in 1997 faces additional an charge of tampering with witnesses.

The new charge against Barry Brandon Beckford was filed in Yakima County Superior Court on Feb. 28, court records show. Bail in the new case is set at $10,000.
