PUBLIC NOTICE

A Site Approval Application has been prepared in compliance with the Idaho Solid Waste Management Rules (IDAPA 58.01.06) for the new Bonner County Blanchard Tier II Solid Waste Transfer Station. This facility will be a new facility to be constructed in 2015. The Bonner County Blanchard Transfer Station is located on 2.5 acres of 19.7 acres of county property located off Paisley Road at 21322 Highway 41, approximately 20 miles south of Oldtown, Idaho. The Site Approval Application has been reviewed and found to be complete by the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ). This notice initiates a thirty (30) day period for the public to review and comment on the application. A copy of the site approval application is available for review at the Bonner County Public Works office, 1500 Highway 2, Ste. 101, Sandpoint, ID 83864 or at the DEQ offices at 2110 Ironwood Parkway, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho 83814. Please address written comments during the 30 day comment period to Rob Eachon at the Coeur d’Alene office of the DEQ. Telephone number 208-769-1422. After the end of the public comment period, DEQ will make a decision regarding site approval for this facility.
