Everyone should be allowed to speak out

All should be allowed, nay, encouraged to speak out.

Those who chose not to listen to others who have different beliefs, might find this quotation by Martin Niemoeller prior to the rise of Hitler, genocide and World War II one about which they might give thought and consideration to. Perhaps in their lack of curiosity, history, beliefs (“turn the other check”) they could understand our nation was built and continues to be built on the strength of all people, all beliefs and compassion, understanding and tolerance.
