Wampus Cats open season

The Clark Fork Wampus Cats tennis team opens the season today at Libby, Mont.

Head coach Jeff Emmer praised the doubles team of Icardo and Cope.

“James has the experience and Niko the athleticism. I’d like to get them to state as a double team and they’ve got a really good chance,” said Emmer, also lauding Stamper, who enters her fourth year. “I’m hoping with Audrey they can make a good doubles team and make a run at state.”
