A trio of Sandpoint Sharks competed at the Northwest Age Group Regional Swim Meet recently in Federal Way, Wash.

Emily Deitz, no stranger to big time meets, finished fourth in the 100 meter back stroke and posted a PR in the 100 free.

Also competing were Caleb Norling and Kate Bokowy.

“This was the first regional meet for Kate and Caleb,” said head coach Mike Brosnahan, noting the pair did not place. “They swam well and had a great first experience at this big of a swim meet.”
