SANDPOINT — What would possess a person to run 100 kilometers, or 62 miles and change for those keeping score at home?

The answer to that question has its genesis at Farmin-Stidwell field, where a young Cody Kritzeck first stumbled upon a love that is still burning strong today.

“I’ve had a passion for running, and it started in the third grade at Farmin-Stidwell,” said Kritzeck, a 28 year-old facilities worker now living in Palouse, Washington. “I’ve been running for most of my life.”
