Harris signs to play football next season at College of Idaho
SANDPOINT — There’s a reason why Sandpoint senior Tyler Harris was recruited as an “athlete” by the College of Idaho.
As a senior at Sandpoint, Harris left his mark on the Sandpoint record books by averaging 11.3 yards per carry as a running back, and also registering more than 200 tackles as a linebacker.
And oh by the way, he also returned several kicks for touchdowns and hauled in several long screen passes for scores.
So when Harris recently signed a letter of intent to play football next season for the Caldwell NAIA school from the Cascade Collegiate Conference, his options are wide open and many for where he might play next year.
