Graham, Collado lead Bulldogs at regional meet

COEUR d’ALENE — Jacob Graham and Sam Powell went one-two in the 3,200, and Carlos Collado and Sam Palmer did the same in the shot put, as a host of Bulldogs punched their tickets to state on day one of the 4A Region 1 Track and Field meet Thursday at Coeur d’Alene High School.

Janice Aylward won the shot put and Kenneth Kovalchuk, Kyle Perry, Kaleb Merrill and Mark Kennaly won the sprint medley relay, as the Bulldog boys doubled up the competition in the team standings after day one.

Sandpoint travels south to Vollmer Bowl in Lewiston for the final day today starting at noon.
