Jeffres named DBS regional manager

MERIDIAN — The Division of Building Safety recently announced the appointment of a statewide compliance coordinator to ensure compliance with Idaho laws, rules and regulations relating to the licensing of tradesmen and contractors.

The position was created at the request of industry stakeholders and the Idaho Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC and Public Works Contractor Licensing Boards,

Terry Blessing, former DBS regional manager in Coeur d ‘Alene, was named to the statewide position, which will involve frequent contact with local jurisdictions and contractors as well as close coordination with DBS regional offices in Meridian, Coeur d’Alene and Pocatello.
