Common Core is damaging education

Common Core threatens school choice and parental and teacher participation in education. Its implementation is ballooning curriculum adoption costs from $6,600 (2015/16) to $198,000 (2016/2017) (as per Lake Pend Oreille School District budget online). Data collection, weeks of testing and denial of access to test scores by parents and teachers are only a few of the reasons why I will not support any pro-Common Core school board candidates and why I enthusiastically support Kathy Rose and Tom Cleveland.
